| Description: |
Commonly due to the infection of bacteria to the digestive system through consumption of contaminated food – salmonella being the usual culprit. Gastro-enteritis describes the symptoms which affect the intestines, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach pain. The infection usually lasts 24 to 48 hours, and you will loose lots of fluid from the vomiting and diarrhoea, these fluids need to be replaced and it is advised to drink plenty of cooled boiled water.
