This is a slowly progressive disease affecting children usually affecting the skeleton It appears to be an autoimmune or genetic disorder with lesions which are characteristic affecting multiple tissues such as the lung, skin, liver and the lymph nodes. They are often affected with diabetes insipidus (inability to retain fluid therefore urinate frequently), exhaustion and weight loss.
