This is the uncomfortable collection of pus in the tissue called the ischiorectal connective tissue- it is in the rectal anus region and symptoms include pain associated with having bowel movements, a discharge of pus from the rectum a hard lump around the anus. It throbs constantly and is very painful when seated.
