Is a cancer of the white cells in the body. The white cells are formed in the bone marrow and this system is malfunctioning in this disease, therefore producing too many white cells that aren’t able to do the job of protecting the body properly. There are two types of leukaemia:
- Acute (sudden and severe onset) Leukaemia
- Chronic (of long duration) Leukaemia
