This is a disease transmitted to humans by ticks. Symptoms feel very much like flu- headaches, aching joints, a high temperature .A spot which is red with a white centre may appear where the tick bit you. The disease can progress and affect the skin, heart, joints and nervous system in a variety of ways. Symptoms can be non-specific and indicative of other disease processes.
