| Description: |
Inflammation of the lung, it can be due to several causes, infection, inhalation of infected substance/vomitus or viral. One or more lobes of the lung can be affected. The symptoms consist of a cough with a sore chest leading onto inflammation of the bronchi (the tubes that lead into the lungs), from there the infection spreads causing a high temperature, with a severe cough- treatment is antibiotics.
