Is a constant erection of the penis, without sexual desire it can become very painful. The erection can last from a few hours to days; the patient will need to be seen by a urologist – a doctor who specialises in genitourinary medicine. It happens when blood fills into the penis but does not drain; it is not relieved by ejaculation.
