Inflammation of the tendon it causes tenderness and pain and can affect your shoulder, elbow; wrists, knees and hips– common names for tendonitis are tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, pitcher's shoulder, swimmer's shoulder and jumper's knee.These are tough yet flexible bands of fibrous tissue, which work through out your body. The causes of tendonitis are overuse or age related.
