| Description: |
A disease caused by an anaerobe ( microorganism) called Clostridium tetani which is found in the soil. The incubation period is between 4-10days and is characterized by the stiffness in the neck and jaw with muscle rigidity in the stomach muscles and spasms. It is rare due to the immunisation program.
