| Description: |
This an extremely rare syndrome and is caused by the common bacteria – Staphylococcus aureus This usually lives quite harmlessly on the skin and in the nose, armpit, groin or vagina of many people causing no real harm. TSS has been associated with women who use tampons, but young men and children can also be affected. Symptoms are similar to flu, high temperature, feeling faint/weak, aching muscles, dizzy and sometimes a rash.
