| Description: |
This is a serious neurological disorder caused by thiamine deficiency vitamin B1 which leads to short term memory loss. It is often due to severe alcoholism, although there are other causes. The patient will present with encephalopathy (diseased brain), with partial paralysis of the eyes, and with unsteady and clumsy motor abilities.
